Attree Properties is a family-owned and operated commercial real estate company, and we're currently seeking a Building Operator to join our team in Burlington.
In this role, you work independently and be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a six-storey office building. You'll ensure the building is run efficiently and our tenants receive the high level of service they've come to expect from us.

Responsibilities:
Operate, maintain, inspect, and test HVAC, electrical, plumbing, chemically treated water systems and life safety equipment
Complete work orders
Respond to tenant requests
Preventative maintenance
Perform general repairs/maintenance to the interior and exterior of the building as required.
Manage and maintain, providing clean, safe, appealing buildings and property at all times including but not limited to base building mechanical and maintenance areas.
Monitor construction and capital projects, and monitor to ensure base building systems are not altered or damaged and that building codes are followed by contractors working at the property.
Maintain inventory for filters, fuses, lamps, ballasts, plumbing supplies and HVAC parts.
Ensure Fire Safety Equipment complies with Fire Code and that fire safety procedures are followed on an annual basis.
Supervise outside contractors and staff as required to ensure completion of tasks as obligated with minimal disruption to the tenants and the building.
Ensure all Life and Safety documents are current, displayed and practiced while performing duties

Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial building operations
Extensive knowledge and experience operating HVAC equipment, plumbing, electrical, BAS, and Life Safety Systems
Skills in blueprint reading, as applied to technical areas
A dedication to providing exceptional service, every day
Exceptional skills in communication, organization, customer service, interpersonal and time management
Self motivated, professional and flexible; able to work both independently and as part of a team
Detail oriented; able to resolve problems using facts and sound reasoning
Must be able to lift 50lb
Must be able to climb and safely use ladders
Friendly and courteous with professional image
Valid Drivers license with clean drivers abstract, and a vehicle
