At Vast Technical Services, we take pride in maintaining high-quality, reliable facilities that support our operations and clients. We're currently seeking a certified HVAC Technician with experience in HVAC and heat pumps to join our team.

Position Overview:
The Building Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the daily cleaning, inspections, and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of troubleshooting and maintaining HVAC and heat pump systems to ensure peak performance year-round.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily facility inspections, cleaning, and maintenance tasks
Maintain and service HVAC and heat pump systems
Monitor building systems (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, etc.) for optimal performance
Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs as needed
Keep accurate maintenance logs and reports
Respond promptly to building maintenance requests and emergencies
Support other facility-related projects as required

Qualifications:
Proven experience in building maintenance or facility operations
15 years of experience in commercial HVAC and heat pump systems required.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems is an asset
Ability to work independently
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license and ability to work on-site in Cold Lake, AB
