Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with general contractors, builders, and construction firms
Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractor accounts, acting as their primary point of contact
Conduct job site visits for measurements, site assessments, and technical consultations
Prepare and present project-specific estimates, tenders, and quotes based on specifications and drawings
Track leads, manage follow-ups, and maintain pipeline activity in CRM tools
Collaborate with operations and estimating teams to ensure accuracy in pricing, timelines, and material coordination
Support builders through the project lifecycle, including scheduling, technical clarifications, and after-sales service
Represent the company professionally on-site and at industry events or trade shows
Maintain a strong working knowledge of overhead doors, dock products, installation methods, and industry standards
Provide feedback on market trends, builder needs, and competitor activity
Builder Sales Representative we are looking for:
5+ years of sales experience in B2B construction or building materials
Sales or technical construction experience required
College Diploma or bachelor's degree (preferred)
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territory
Technical knowledge of garage doors and/or construction is an asset.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage multiple contractor relationships
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage complex project timelines
