About Us:

A licensed Cannabis Boutique outlet based out of tourist landmark, Niagara Falls is looking for motivated, experienced and sales driven Budtenders to join their team. As a budtender, the person will be a brand ambassador for the business and the first point of contact for customers.

The budtender will be responsible for guiding customers through product offerings, educating them on different products, suggesting responsible use, and helping them make informed purchasing decisions.

Top candidates are those who are passionate and personable, eager to learn and stay abreast of the market trends and store's offerings, and have a knack for cultivating a sale. Strong eye on organizing and maintaining the Store is one of the key prerequisites of the job.

About Work:

Deliver exceptional service to customers, including educating them on product range and best consumption practices

Becoming an expert on brand, product lines, and Company's mission to add greater value for the customers

Ensure the store is kept clean, organized, presentable and well-maintained at all times by offering welcoming and visually appealing ambiance to the customers

Assist in creating and implementing store initiatives

Ensure seamless flow of transactions up to close of shift reconciliation and follow-up on any discrepancies

Receiving cannabis delivery, storing, retrieving, stocking (inventory) and cash management in compliance with Company's policies and provincial or federal requirements

All other duties as assigned by the store manager and/or management

About You:

Strong familiarity with cannabis and the cannabis industry, particularly in understanding product categories and the experiences consumers can expect

Superb communication skills - you will make customers feel delighted and well taken care of!

Good numeracy skills - ability to do simple math while operating cash register: perform cash/card transactions, opening and closing shifts and counting inventory. Strong knowledge and ability to accurately identify legitimate currency bills used in Canada and the US

Strong retail and sales experience - you can sell anything to anyone! Demonstrated history of being a brand ambassador and positively impacting the sales

Desire to understand various aspects of cannabis industry and providing positive, educational and safe use information to customers and team members

Willingness to learn & grow in all ways

About Critical Requirements:

High school diploma/GED or equivalent

2+ years of experience in retail environment

1+ years of cannabis retail/ dispensary (or other cannabis-related jobs) preferred

Must be available to work on weekdays, weekends, during holidays and morning & evening hours

CannSell Certification is MUST (can be attain after selection but prior to commence of job)

The successful candidate will be subject to a background check prior to joining

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
