We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate clients on product options, and assist in creating a welcoming environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for the industry, and the ability to handle various retail responsibilities efficiently. Multilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or hospitality are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assess their needs to recommend suitable cannabis products Educate clients on product effects, strains, dosages, and consumption methods Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions and cash handling Upsell products to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities Maintain knowledge of current inventory, merchandising standards, and promotional campaigns Ensure compliance with all legal regulations regarding sale and possession of cannabis products Manage stock levels, restock shelves, and assist with inventory organization Handle customer inquiries professionally via in-person interactions or digital communication Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary area Assist with administrative tasks such as filing records and managing product documentation

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales, hospitality, or customer service roles is preferred Familiarity with POS systems, computer operation, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and basic math skills is advantageous Multilingual abilities (English plus French or other languages) are a plus for serving diverse customers Experience with merchandising, upselling techniques, and organizational skills will support success in this role Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for stock movement or inventory management Strong communication skills with an emphasis on professionalism and active listening Demonstrated leadership qualities or prior supervisory experience are beneficial but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
