Senior Support Services LLG Lifeline is a proud partner of Lifeline Canada, Canada's #1 Medical Alert Service to provide the Lifeline Canada service throughout the tri-county of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville as well as to the city of Kingston and surrounding area. Senior Support Services LLG takes comfort in knowing that our residents can continue to live confidently and independently in their homes with the reassurance that help is available 24/7 at the push of a button.

Senior Support Services LLG invites applications for a brokered Lifeline technician who is interested in providing services on behalf of Senior Support Services LLG Lifeline.

The brokered Lifeline technician, under the direction of the Lifeline Manager, will primarily be responsible to install, service and trouble shoot Lifeline systems in client's homes. The technician must demonstrate an aptitude for learning new technologies, must work systematically and efficiently, and must demonstrate a high level of integrity and work ethic.

The technician will install, service, explain and teach clients how to use service and complete required paperwork. We provide training opportunities to learn to install, explain, service and troubleshoot the most current Lifeline solutions as well as new technologies as they are introduced.

Qualifications



Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Well-Developed time management and Organization skills Strong technical background in technology and repairs Excellent organization skills and attention to details Experience working with the elderly and with cognitively impaired individuals Strong communication and interpersonal skills Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening Available to travel, reliable vehicle, and valid driver's license (full "G"), 2,000,000 liability insurance coverage Must be available weekdays during office hours
The brokered Lifeline installer is not an employee of Senior Support Services LLG. There is no guarantee of hours. Tasks will be assigned and hours pre-approved by the office as required. The successful candidate will self-schedule all assigned installation and service appointments within a specific time frame. Training will be provided.
