We're adding a Broker Admin to our team!



This is a brand-new role in our Stratford office, giving you the chance to help shape its future success. In this role, you get to wear two hats--supporting our customers through outstanding reception assistance and providing value-added administrative support to our team of brokers. You'll help the office run smoothly day to day ensuring every interaction reflects the warmth, professionalism, and care that Moore Hemsworth has been known for over nearly 140 years.

So what will you spend your days doing?


Key Responsibilities and Duties




Responsible for reception duties including greeting clients, answering phones, mail/courier, equipment and supply orders. Sort, distribute, scan all incoming mail/documents according to company procedures, ensure accurate record keeping and accessibility. Monitor and assign downloads and edocs to the broker team & run daily edi processes. Provide admin and back-office support/ data entry to brokers as required. Take and process client payments and make courtesy calls for payment reminders. Proactively follow up with clients and carriers to address missing information or documentation. Maintain postage meter, Interac machine, alarm system. Assist with company initiatives, planning team events, etc. Provide additional administrative support to management and the team as required. Continuously seek out ways to improve the overall brokerage customer and client experience. Support data/file clean up


Qualifications









Previous experience in an administrative or customer service-based role is required. Adaptable and flexible, willing to help out with any task. Serving as the front-line ambassador for the brokerage, must remain positive and professional at all times. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Prior experience in an office or insurance environment is an asset.
