full-time Bridge Saw Operator

for long-term commitment.

The hours are

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm

. Must be reliable and responsible.

Position Summary

:

The Bridge Saw Operator will be responsible for operating bridge saw machinery to cut and shape stone slabs according to precise measurements and design specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

Operate bridge saw machinery to cut and shape stone slabs

Read and follow blueprints, templates, and job instructions

Measure, mark, and inspect materials before and after cutting

Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Assist with moving and organizing stone slabs in the shop

Any other tasks that the foreman or manager ask you to complete

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience operating a bridge saw or working in a stone fabrication shop

Experience on a CNC machine or saw is a major asset

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements

Be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly

Comfortable working in a noisy environment with appropriate PPE

Communicates well with co-workers

Able to trouble shoot with others to help problem solve

Able to stay calm under tight deadlines

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to time manage multiple projects or tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
