We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and construction, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role involves building, repairing, and restoring structures using bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials. The Brick Mason will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and schematics to ensure precise execution of projects.
Responsibilities
Construct and repair walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, blocks, and stone.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and laying materials.
Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure structural integrity.
Operate heavy equipment as needed for specific projects.
Collaborate with team members to complete renovation and restoration projects efficiently.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
Experience
Proven experience in masonry or a related construction field is essential.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to masonry work.
Familiarity with blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics.
Experience in renovation and restoration projects is highly desirable.
