Job Description

We're growing again and our Head Brewer needs help! We are seeking a detail oriented and hardworking Production Assistant to join our team at Happy Gut Water Kefir Brewery.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure exemplary cleanliness and organization throughout the production area, following strict HACCP sanitation protocols Assist with forward production planning, inventory management, and data recording Safely operate equipment and machinery for brewing, canning, and packaging Lift and move heavy materials and supplies as needed, up to 50 lbs Perform routine cleaning tasks, including tanks, equipment, floors, and work surfaces Adhere to all health, safety, and quality control procedures Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work weekends and adjust to changing production schedules as needed Safely operate company vehicle for scheduled deliveries Feeding and Growth Management of water kefir grains

Requirements:

Prior experience in food industry is preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety protocols Comfortable with physical labor, including standing for long periods and heavy lifting Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends Foodsafe and WHIMIS certification required once hired Clean drivers abstract
