Job Responsibilities: Product Development:
  • You will work within product development in conjunction with the head brewer to develop interesting and unique beers that our consumers will enjoy.
  • Creating recipes and brewing small batches for testing.
Brewhouse Operations/Equipment Maintenance:
  • Ensuring the brew recipe is being followed accordingly and accurately and the beer is stored correctly.
  • Maintain equipment within the brewery and work within the maintenance schedule provided within production requirements.
  • Cleaning and filling kegs
  • Assisting with canning and packaging,
  • performing other duties as required
Quality Control/Cellaring:
  • Conducting aseptic and environmental sampling
  • Chemical analysis of water, wort, yeast, beer, etc.
  • Collaborate with brewery team to maintain lab beer inventory, improve yeast viability assays, and optimize sensory panel tastings
  • Data entry for brew, fermentation, cellar, and quality control
  • Detailed records must be kept, with the goal of improving beer quality and production processes.
  • As a member of this team, you must ensure that work is performed in a safe manner. You will also assist with the canning and packaging process of the brewery. These are the final steps before product goes into inventory for distribution, so attention to detail is a must.
  • Operates brewery canning & kegging lines
  • Daily clean-up & maintenance of equipment
  • Observes cleaning cycles for proper concentration, pressures, and efficiency
  • Analyzes brewery and canning line equipment, components, raw materials, and end products
  • Keeps canning line running efficiently to minimize lost production time
  • Coordinates the storage of full kegs and packaged product
  • Use of a forklift
  • Sanitizes beer lines and ensures the packaging equipment is ready for the next day\xe2\x80\x99s production
  • Cleans and maintains draft lines in the taproom
Qualifications:
  • Previous brewery experience an asset
  • Forklift experience and certification an asset
  • Enthusiasm for beer
  • Must be organized and able to prioritize
  • Ability to problem solve
Working & Physical Requirements
  • Can lift and move up to 140 pounds, work long hours on their feet
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour Benefits:
