Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, while demonstrating strong time management skills. Provide detailed menu information to guests, including daily specials and upselling opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, maintaining high standards of food presentation and sanitation. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling responsibilities. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines and sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations throughout the shift. Foster positive guest interactions by providing excellent guest services and responding to inquiries or complaints effectively.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Pay: From $17.20 per hour
