Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for breakfast, food preparation and cooking, with a strong focus on food safety and quality. As a Breakfast Cook, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering delicious meals to our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness.

Experience

2-4 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment in Ontario Availability on Saturday and Sunday, from 9AM to 3 PM Familiarity with cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Experience in meal preparation and serving is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
