We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that meet our guests' expectations while ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and regulations. Assist in the planning and execution of daily meal preparation, including portion control and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service times. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management. Participate in menu development by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and meal preparation methods. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
