About the role:
Reporting to the Front Desk Manager ,as the Breakfast Attendant, you are at the forefront of creating and executing memorable experiences for our guests by giving the 'wow' factor.
You will be working in a closely knit team where a "Yes And Do" attitude and ensemble-orientation is an absolute must. You set the standard for our guests' experience, because you're part of it. You adore being around people almost as much as you love food and drink. You're willing to learn all about our menu so that you can offer guidance and an amazing experience to our guests.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Greeting and engaging with guests to create a positive, welcoming, and memorable experience
Set up and maintain breakfast buffet as required by Tru brand standards
Display and replenish dishes, utensils, cups, trays, and hot and cold food items
Brew coffee and efficiently replenish breakfast food items
Prepare fresh fruit, display breads and pastries
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment
Remove dishes, clear tables, and empty garbage
Check the cleaning frequency chart and ensure the required tasks are completed
Monitor inventory levels of all food, beverages and supplies and order appropriate stocks needed
Ensure breakfast storage and preparation areas are clean and organized
Report malfunctioning equipment, furniture in disrepair and other related deficiencies using the work order process to ensure they are rectified in a timely manner
Adhere to company, legislation, brand and industry standards, policies, and procedures
Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Previous food and beverage serving experience is an asset, preferably in a hospitality setting
Passionate about hospitality, and delivering world-class service to our guests
Thrive on creating positive experiences
Happy to be on your feet ... Standing, bending, reaching, carrying, and lifting up to 30 lbs
Reliable transportation & Available to start work at 4.30 AM to 11.30AM
Flexibility to work in weekends
Regular attendance is very crucial for this position
Food Safety/ Food Handler certification - Can be acquired after hire date
WHIMS training - Can be acquired after hire date
