Overhaul, retrofit, rebuild, remanufacture, service, troubleshoot, and test a wide variety of low, medium, and high-voltage electrical equipment, including: Circuit breakers (e.g., GE, Westinghouse, Powell, ABB, ITE, Eaton, etc.) Switchgear and electrical panels Motor control centers (MCCs), contactors, and associated apparatus Disassemble and assemble components in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify faults or performance issues Perform repairs using appropriate tools, testing equipment, and technical documentation Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and equipment status Support general housekeeping and organization of the breaker shop, including inventory control and workspace maintenance Participate in training and hands-on learning to enhance skills and technical knowledge Ensure all work meets required quality, safety, and compliance standards

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Requires a High School Diploma or GED; prefer electro-mechanical training from trade school, apprenticeship or armed services. Previous experience with rebuilding, repairing, and retrofitting circuit breakers. 480V to 15KV circuit breaker experience desired. PEARL breaker certification desirable. Prefer testing skills and understand fundamental electrical and mechanical testing procedures. Experience at an OEM breaker manufacturer a plus. Strong mechanical skills and experience desired such as industrial mechanical engines, pneumatics, hydraulics, or diesel equipment will be beneficial. Working knowledge of power systems, power circuit breakers and other switchgear apparatus desirable. Experience at correctly using tools and testing equipment including Megger, digital multimeter, Hi-Pot tester, Oil Dielectric strength tester, multiamps relay tester, primary & secondary injection set, cable fault detector, & oscilloscope desirable Prefer experience reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams.

Other Requirements

Must be able to stay Drug-Free; you will be required to pass a pre-employment hair follicle drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests. Must have an acceptable pre-employment criminal background check. All offers are conditioned on acceptable results from a background check and drug and alcohol screening. Must be physically fit to crawl, climb, stand, walk and lift up to 75 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be able to pass a fit for duty physical exam. Must have a valid driver's license, and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record. Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, and occasional weekends, holidays and nights. Must not currently or in the future require sponsorship to work in the U.S. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Must be willing to travel around 20% of the time
