Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and reliable

Bread Baker

to join our production team. This role involves mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking a variety of breads and dough-based products in a fast-paced bakery environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in bread production, excellent understanding of dough handling, and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality baked goods while maintaining strict food safety standards.

Duties

Mix, scale, and prepare various doughs following established formulas and procedures. Shape and form breads with consistency and proper technique. Operate and monitor ovens to ensure products are baked to standard. Maintain accuracy in timing, temperature, and hydration for all doughs. Prepare production batches and complete daily bread requirements on schedule. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in accordance with food safety regulations. Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, dividers, sheeters, racks, and ovens safely and efficiently. Follow all food-handling, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols. Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily output and quality targets.

Experience

Previous experience as a bread baker or in a commercial bakery is required. Strong knowledge of dough development, fermentation, shaping, and baking techniques. Experience working with commercial ovens and bakery production equipment. Understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures. Ability to work in a high-volume, early-morning production environment. Consistency, attention to detail, and strong time-management skills are essential.
This position is ideal for a dedicated baker with solid bread-making experience who can deliver reliable, high-quality results in a structured production setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
