What You Will Do
The Brand partnership specialist will oversee the development and execution of strategic partnership and licensing opportunities. They are a strong leader who is adept at finding and facilitating potential partnership opportunities with like-minded brands with the goal of growing revenue, increasing brand awareness, and introducing our brand to new audiences.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support revenue-growth and brand-alignment goals and help maintain a strong pipeline of partner and licensing opportunities.
Conduct outreach and field interest of potential partners.
Negotiate key business terms with partners and licensees and set and track key performance indicators; ensuring alignment with the company's ongoing financial and brand initiatives.
Support existing partners and licensees, oversee contractual obligations, coordinate internal changes, and provide regular updates to the internal team.
Supports account managers in development and sustainability in creating proposals and negotiating contracts that are related to brand partnerships.
Synthesize and sell concepts to inspire confidence and gain support.
Act as a key point person on marketing partnerships and monitor progress on development partnerships, gaining feedback and honing techniques to improve future success rates.
Assist in identifying, researching, pitching, and securing new business opportunities in alignment with DUC strategic goals.
Support the development of strategic partnership proposals that align brand messages and standards with organizational objectives in a way that appeals to potential partners.
Constantly monitor industry best practices to improve processes and approaches
Develop engaging marketing campaigns leveraging resources, partner alignment, and marketing best practices to create the most strategic and compelling promotional campaigns, tailored to the intended audiences or industries.
Develop comprehensive go-to-market project plans that account for revenue-growth, promotional plans, optimizations, and cross-functional needs.
Report regularly to key internal and external parties to ensure alignment, transparency, and escalation as required.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years' experience in partnership marketing such as influencer marketing, brand partnerships, or a similar role.
College diploma in marketing, commerce, business administration, creative communications, public relations, advertising or another related field. A post-secondary degree is considered an asset.
Proven track record and demonstrated ability to recommend and implement partnership and licensing strategies and maintain a strong pipeline.
Ability to think strategically, tactically, analytically, and creatively.
Detail-oriented, numerate, and conscientious
Strong understanding of intellectual property and experience reviewing contracts and making recommendations.
Interest in conservation and environmental science is an asset.
Bilingual (English/French) an asset.
