Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written - with a professional, positive attitude Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients Highly motivated, energetic, and self-driven, with a willingness to leverage an existing social media presence or build a personal brand from the ground up to attract and engage customers Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced and competitive sales environment Excellent customer service abilities; able to listen to customer needs and provide tailored solutions Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team A genuine passion for the automotive industry and a desire to stay current with vehicle trends and product knowledge Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on customer demand Valid VSA license (Vehicle Sales Authority of British Columbia) (preferred)
Previous automotive sales experience is an asset

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement: Welcome and assist all showroom visitors, guiding them through the vehicle selection and purchase process to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience Vehicle Knowledge: Become a product expert in Mitsubishi's full lineup, including model features, trims, and technology, and stay updated on the latest advancements and changes Relationship Building: Foster long-term relationships with clients by communicating clearly, listening to their needs, and delivering honest, helpful guidance Sales Performance: Strive to exceed individual and team sales targets by effectively presenting vehicle benefits and utilizing a structured, consultative sales approach Team Collaboration: Coordinate with sales managers, finance, service, and parts departments to deliver a seamless, end-to-end customer journey Lead Management: Use dealership CRM tools to manage customer follow-ups, track interactions, and maintain an organized sales pipeline Test Drive Facilitation: Schedule and conduct test drives, ensuring each vehicle is presented in top condition and features are clearly explained during the experience Trade-In Process Support: Assist in evaluating customer trade-ins by collecting relevant information and working alongside the appraisal team Ongoing Customer Communication: Proactively follow up with leads and past clients to generate repeat business, referrals, and strong customer retention Brand Representation: Reflect the values and professionalism of Mitsubishi Richmond in all customer and team interactions, both in-person and online Market Awareness: Stay informed about Mitsubishi promotions, competitor offerings, and industry trends to provide up-to-date and competitive information to clients Personal Branding & Social Media Engagement: Proactively build your own presence on social media by creating a personal channel to promote both yourself and the Mitsubishi Richmond brand. Use engaging content to connect with potential customers, showcase vehicles, share promotions, and attract new clients online
