DK-Lok Canada Ltd. is the Canadian exclusive master distributor of DK-Lok and DK-Lok Corp high quality valve, fitting, tubing and related products. We support various industries requiring leak-free system components for instrumentation, process and fluid handling systems.

DK-Lok Canada is looking to expand our team in Grande Prairie with a new branch manager that will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objective. You must be comfortable communicating with customers in person, on the phone or via email. We are looking for a motivated individual that has exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The branch manager will be responsible for many tasks that are listed below.

Primary Scope



Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Branch Manager quotes, plans and coordinates branch sales, while managing staff, building customer relations and actively contributing to the company's management team.

Main Duties



Coordination and Supervision

a) Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of branch staff.

Best Practices

a) Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals.

b) Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.

Production

a) Coordinate and monitor the work of branch staff involved in production, warehousing, pricing, shipping/ receiving and distribution of goods.

b) Monitor performance and implement improvements.

c) Ensure quality of products.

d) Provide technical support where necessary.

Communication

a) Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of branch staff.

b) Facilitate coordination and communication between branch staff and senior management.

Sales, Marketing and Customer Service

a) Manage customer support.

b) Plan and support sales and marketing activities.

Strategic Input

a) Liaison with top management.

b) Implement and manage operational plans within the branch.

Employee Development

a) Set goals and assess progress

b) Identify training opportunities

c) Provide on-going coaching and feedback

d) Perform annual employee reviews

Leadership and Management

a)Analyze and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement

b)Identify and utilize methods of streamlining the company processes to become more efficient and effective

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS



Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Excellent customer service skills

Possess creativity and flexibility to assess and meet customer needs

Strong working relationships with the company's Sales Group

Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment

Ability to interact and perform successfully within a team environment

Ability to effectively manage time and carry out multiple tasks within a set time period

Detail oriented

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Flexible attitude to hours of work

Good phone etiquette

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE



Red Seal Parts Technician



Minimum 3 years experience in similar role, preferred 5+

Minimum of grade 12

Familiar with product lines similar to DK-LOK products

Working knowledge of applicable regulatory standards

Previous sales experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



This position is a mix of desk and shop work, some physical strength required.

Ideal candidate is required to be able to move easily about the buildings and yards and to have good vision and auditory function.

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
