Job Description

Branch Associate Responsibilities:



Enter / review orders submitted by email, fax, mail, phone, E.D.I., and online Coordinate and schedule deliveries with vendors and the logistics team Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system data Communicate with sales, purchasing, and customer service teams to align inventory strategy with customer needs Identify and resolve inventory issues such as overstock, stockouts, or product obsolescence Receives products efficiently and accurately, collaborating with the purchasing department for any discrepancies Prints labels and places identifiable totes containing orders on the conveyor through our inventory management system Picks stock from zone locations (upper and main levels) to complete orders for customers Utilizes an RF scanner for picking requirements Communicates daily progress to Warehouse Managers/Executive Management team Maintains good housekeeping, including reports of any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions Work with the team in shipping to expedite rush orders and provide delivery information to customers Answer customer, vendor, and outside sales representative's calls/emails Research detailed products Handle customer complaints and concerns Provide quotations to customers and sales representatives upon request Maintain knowledge level on product lines by attending a variety of training sessions Warehouse duties such as receiving, put-away, picking, and packing Perform all reasonable directions given to you by the Company, including but not limited to, all warehouse duties, deliveries, VMI duties, customer service duties, and any other requirement requested of you, from time to time, in support of the branch operations.

Qualifications:



High School diploma/GED Excellent communication skills Working knowledge of industrial MRO and OHE safety is preferred WHMIS / GHS and Safe Lifting knowledge are preferred Valid Class 5 License (Saskatchewan)

Physical/Mental Demands:



Proficiency in Microsoft Word 265 and Inventory Management Software Experience with online order systems Occasionally lift/move objects that range from 10-50 lbs Frequently sitting, standing, walking, crouching, bending, and infrequently climbing, carrying, pushing and pulling of skids via a pump truck and products via a dolly

Preferred:



1-3 years of experience in inventory management, supply chains, or logistics Knowledge of ERP systems and demand forecasting tools Familiarity with warehouse and distribution operations * Willing and capable of learning new skills and transferring that knowledge immediately and accurately
