Job Description

The Saskatoon Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center (SOSMC) is looking to fill a full time position in our bracing department. The Saskatoon Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center is a multidisciplinary clinic focusing on outstanding patient care. The bracing/orthotics department works closely with general practitioners, surgeons, and physical therapists to provide the highest level of care to our patients.

Position Responsibilities:

Pre and post-operative bracing Acute injury assessment and management through bracing Various office duties Answering phones and scheduling appointments Patient billing/certain supplementary billing Inventory management Opportunity to assist development of custom bracing in the sports medicine lab Accounts receivable Opening and closing duties Cash management
Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills Self-motivated and independent Organization and multitasking skills Knowledge of human anatomy Experience with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and Accuro Software is an asset Preference given to applicants with a Kinesiology degree
