Library Technician 2 (LIB2)
for a work assignment atBellerose Composite High School
.

Hours of Work
:
35.0 hrs. /week; 7.0 hrs./day; Monday-Friday; Full Time, ProbationaryHourly Rate:
$25.41 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective AgreementSpecific Needs/Requirements for this position:
Familiarity with automated cataloguing and classification systems is required Knowledge of library materials and resources is required Knowledge of library related software (e.g. Destiny) is required Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills with a strong service orientation are essential Experience in a high school library environment is an asset Ability to coordinate the circulation of school library resources efficiently while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment is required Management of promotional activities such as book fairs is required A minimum of two (2) years of related experience required Completion of post-secondary library technician diploma is an asset
