Desired Qualifi
c
ations:
Possess a Grade 12 Diploma;
Proficiency in the use of computers such as word processing, database systems;
Related training or experience in the library field would be an asset;
Ability to do medium work (exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects);
Knowledge and experience within Google platform.

Assist teachers and/or students in the location and use of Resource Centre materials;
Assist in public relations, including planning and implementing visual displays and programs in the library through appropriate use of bulletin boards and other spaces;
Maintain computer-based circulation and cataloguing protocols;
Process resource material (shelving, filing, laminating, etc.);
Promote the vision, mission, principles and goals of the Chinook School Division;
Purchasing resources for library;
Assisting staff and students with copying, scanning and printing jobs;
Minor maintenance to printers and xerox copier.
