Who we are:

Gateway Entertainment Centre is 60,000 square feet of family entertainment. The facility is comprised of 36 ten pin bowling lanes, laser tag arena, 13 billiards tables, arcade, full-service restaurant, multiple bars, private event rooms and more.

As part of our organization, you will join us in providing exceptional service by merging your skills with our service procedures.

As a Bowling Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for being the face of the company. Providing excellent guest service, ensuring guests and team safety, as well as working cohesively with the team members and management. You must be committed to making guests feel confident to increase guest satisfaction and ultimately retain guests.

Your Role:

Answer incoming calls in a timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Answer guest questions or transfer to correct department. Assist guests in a timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Ensure guests are assisted with the appropriate number of games and shoes for their group. Assist guests with any additional requirements such as ramps, lighter balls, or bumpers. Be available to answer guest questions or assist with rectifying any issues. Radio issues to mechanics following proper radio procedures. Maintain team and positional standards. Under supervision, understand and comply with bowling counter and companywide policies and procedures. Maintain booking and online reservation binders. Maintain league payments and standings binders. Make proper documentation of all booking changes and notify the reservations office of these changes. Deliver exceptional service while resolving any issues via phone or in person. You will be empowered to determine the best course of action with the support of the managerial staff and other bowling team members.
Requirements:

Have a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum 1 year of experience delivering exceptional customer service. Have a customer service mindset and high achieving outlook that motivates you to go above and beyond for both the team and guests. Possess exceptional oral skills, telephone etiquette, and guest service skills. Possess great problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns. Be a team player with good organizational ability and interpersonal skills. Be organized and have excellent attention to detail. Be able to bend, crouch, kneel, and reach low shelves. Be able to stand for long periods of time. Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
