We are seeking Part Time Bowling Attendants whose interpersonal skills will endear them to our membership. As a Bowling Attendant you will be the friendly face greeting members and their guests during league play, social functions, and open play. You will be responsible for the serving of food & beverage, general maintenance, cleaning, and working in confined areas. You will get to see behind the scenes and be part of how we bring the magic to the sport of bowling.

Responsibilities:

Deliver service excellence by creating a welcoming and enjoyable bowling experience for members, guests, and staff. This includes responding promptly to inquiries about operating hours and programming, and addressing member concerns, compliments, and suggestions in a timely and professional manner. Provide efficient food and beverage service, including the responsible serving of alcohol. Duties include taking and placing orders, clearing and cleaning tables, and working collaboratively with the food and beverage team to ensure a seamless guest experience. Maintain the quality and safety of bowling lanes and machinery through regular cleaning, general maintenance, and enforcement of proper lane usage guidelines. Support the Bowling Supervisor in league operations by assisting with administrative tasks such as recording high scores and ensuring smooth event execution. Accurately manage lane reservations and assist in the planning and coordination of special events, working closely with the Bowling Supervisor and food and beverage team to meet member needs and event requirements. Participate actively in staff meetings, training workshops, seminars, and in-service sessions as part of ongoing professional development and commitment to high service standards.

Qualifications:

Strong customer service orientation with a focus on creating positive member and guest experiences ProServe Certification is required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-focused approach Demonstrated initiative and effective problem-solving abilities Ability to identify and address issues with bowling equipment as they arise Comfortable using computer systems for reservations, scoring, and general operations Knowledge of the sport of bowling and/or prior experience in the food and beverage industry considered an asset

Additional Details:

These are Part Time positions that report to the Bowling Supervisor. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check including a vulnerable sector check as well as ProServe Certification, Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications prior to commencing employment.
