Project Details:
Based at our project in Northern B.C., this will be a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation opportunity.
Responsibilities:
The Boom Truck Operators are responsible and accountable for the following:
Strictly adhere to all legislated regulations, including the BC Mines Act, as well as company Health & Safety policies to ensure safe work practices and uphold Health & Safety as the top priority.
Comply with all site-specific and underground policies and procedures to maintain operational integrity and safety standards.
Safely operating a boom truck and moving material from surface to underground and distributing to various locations including storage areas
Support crews underground by keeping workplaces supplied with required material
Operating boom truck underground
Remove and replace the outhouse cassettes and bring used cassettes to surface for cleaning
Other mining elated tasks as required
Qualifications / Requirements:
Minimum two (2) years working full-time in an underground mining environment
Demonstrates strong comprehension skills when reading written instructions or receiving verbal guidance, ensuring tasks are performed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Participate in daily toolbox meetings and "welcome back" sessions upon returning to site to ensure alignment with safety protocols and operational updates.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, punctuality, and an unwavering commitment to safety. Must be willing to work a 3-weeks-on / 3-weeks-off rotational schedule.
Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs repetitively and consistently throughout the workday.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse crews and adapt seamlessly to different team dynamics.
Maintains a positive attitude and takes initiative as a proactive contributor to high-performing teams.
Thrives in fast-paced environments while maintaining focus, efficiency, and safety standards.

This position involves frequent air travel to and from the work site. Applicants must meet all legislated requirements for air travel to work at the remote site camp. You will be required to work both dayshift and nightshift as part of the rotational schedule 21 days on site, 21 days off site. For this safety sensitive position, you will be required to undergo a background check and be required to undergo a substance test and pre-employment testing.
What we offer:
Competitive annual salary ranging between $128,000 - $150,000 based on experience and qualifications. The wage ranges are comprised of the hourly wage plus applicable premiums and calculated on an average number of rotations worked per year.
