Job Summary

We are a music store operating on Granville Island, Vancouver. This is a temporary part-time position for the remainder of August with the potential for addition part time hours continuing in September. The job involves data entry for booking keeping purposes, i.e. entering data into Account Edge Pro accounting software. The successful candidate will be available during business hours 9-5, Monday to Thursday, at our store location at 1650 Johnston Street for the remaining weeks in August, 2025.

This is an ideal position for an undergraduate university student looking for a financial boost before school starts and then part-time income during the school year.

Commitment is for 20-30 hours a week (4 full work days) until Sept, and then 3-4 hours a week (one morning or afternoon) from September on-wards.

The work is results based, flexible hours may be an option after the initial training period. Training is provided on-the-job. Previous office-work experience is a asset.

Minimum education required: Second Year University or College.

Requirements

Minimum second year undergraduate university or college training. Previous office experience is preferred. Familiarity with accounting software. Strong organizational skills. Computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly. Ability to work independently and to keep accountable work hours. Attention to detail is essential.
