We are seeking a friendly, professional, customer service focused individual to join our team in Strasbourg or Cupar or possibly a combination of both offices. This position will ideally be permanent full-time however there is flexibility for part-time from June to December.
The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting functions. They will also be responsible for preparing individual tax returns. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and strong organizational skills are valued.
Salary will depend on the applicant's experience.
Duties
Provide bookkeeping functions for various clients using computerized bookkeeping software (AgExpert and Quickbooks are the main programs).
Bookkeeping functions include: accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, GST & PST filing, and payroll.
Prepare personal tax returns.
Maintain organized records of all tax-related documentation for audit purposes.
Qualifications
Bookkeeping and/or personal tax preparation experience, however we are willing to train the right individual.
Strong computer skills. Willing to learn accounting software such as QuickBooks, AgExpert, or similar platforms.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client files efficiently.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
