Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to join our clients team within the textile recycling industry, job hours are 8 Am to 4 Pm, Monday to Friday. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, along with a solid background in administrative tasks, bookkeeping, and human resources. As an Office Administrator, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing various clerical functions.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily office activities to ensure efficient operations Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting visitors and handling multi-line phone systems Oversee human resources functions such as payroll processing Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using Sage accounting software and manage budgeting tasks (training will be provided as there is a learning curve from quickbooks) Organize filing systems to ensure easy access to documents and information Handle vendor management duties, ensuring timely communication and service delivery Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence Foster a positive team environment through effective team management and communication
Qualifications

Proven experience in an office or administrative role with a focus on clerical tasks 1-6 years of experience in Microsoft Excel 1-6 years experience in Quickbooks Accounting Software and web server for bookkeeping and financial management (training will be provided for Sage software) Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette Familiarity with payroll processes and human resources practices is advantageous Experience with vendor management and maintaining professional relationships
