Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient office processes, and supporting our financial functions. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping and payroll processes. The successful candidate must have either bookkeeping or accounting certifications.

Responsibilities



Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments. Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records. Complete payroll processing, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and accuracy in employee compensation. Utilize Axon and Sage accounting software for bookkeeping tasks and financial reporting. Conduct account analysis and budgeting to support financial planning and decision-making within the organization. Maintain organized records of financial transactions, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible. Collaborate with other departments to streamline office operations and improve overall efficiency. Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.

Experience



Proven experience in an office administration role or similar position is preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, account analysis, and budgeting. Proficiency in accounting software such as Axon and Sage is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
