We are a prominent and growing accounting firm located in the heart of Woodbridge. We have been in practice for over 25 years, providing a full range of accounting, bookkeeping, tax and advisory services to our valued clients in Vaughan, Woodbridge, Maple, Concord, Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Markham, Brampton, Mississauga and Toronto.

We are looking to hire a full-time Bookkeeper/Intermediate Accountant to join our team. This position will appeal to someone who wants the opportunity to expand his/her knowledge in accounting and tax, and work in a dynamic and challenging environment. this position services clients with a hands on approach, delivering experience, integrity and exceptional service.

The responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

Preparation of financial statements; Corporate and personal file preparation; Corporate, personal and trust return preparation; GST/HST, WSIB and EHT return preparation; Payroll administration; Bookkeeping activities, as required; Respond to client enquirers and maintain client relationships; Compliance and corporate governance; and preparation of annual T Slips and related summaries;
The Candidate that we are looking for is a mature and career-oriented individual that is looking for a long-term position with our firm that possesses the following traits:

Holds a professional accounting designation; Experience with Profile, QuickBooks, Excel, Word and Outlook; Good understanding of accounting principles and tax compliance; Excellent organizational skills; Self-motivated and works well independently and in a team environment; Communicates well with clients, team members and government agencies; Speaks fluent English and working knowledge of Italian is preferred but not mandatory; Capable of working in a fast paced, high-energy environment; and Possess excellent customer service skills.
