Job description
We are looking to hire an experienced, trainable, kind, and hard-working bookkeeper to join our tight-knit accounting team. Tasks will include managing financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
We foster a healthy, productive, and supportive work environment. Between training sessions and meetings, we love having a meal together or playing with the office dog, Luna, who loves a cuddle almost as much as she loves a treat.
Responsibilities for Bookkeeper include
Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on an as-needed basis
Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
Run Payroll
Answer Phones
Qualifications for Bookkeeper
2-5 years of relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient skills in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
