We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Toronto, Ontario. Our workplace is in the industry where accuracy and efficiency are paramount. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring our financial operations run smoothly.Responsibilities:

• Accurately process wire transfers and handle accounts payable
• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues in the financial records
• Manage and update customer credit applications and records
• Conduct balance sheet account and credit card reconciliations
• Communicate effectively via emails to address and resolve customer inquiries
• Utilize QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel to manage and organize financial data
• Perform administrative tasks as required to support the financial operations
• Review and verify accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all data is accurate and complete
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Bookkeeper
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Demonstrated ability in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations
• Strong knowledge of general Bookkeeping practices
• Competence in Data Entry tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in performing Month End Close activities
• Ability to manage Payroll effectively
• Mastery of QuickBooks software, including QuickBooks Online
• Experience in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Bank Account Reconciliation
• Experience in Cash Reconciliations
• Ability to perform Credit Card Reconciliation
• Experience in Daily Reconciliation tasks
