This Bookkeeper position is being offered as a long-term contract / temporary opportunity, and will be located the Toronto, Ontario area.Responsibilities- Look after archived records by categorizing documents- Oversee and manage general ledger- Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for bookkeeping- Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information- Appease accounts by balancing entries- Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits- Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions- 5+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper- Bank reconciliations experience preferred- Demonstrated knowledge of Payroll Vendor- Experience with payroll for under 100 employees- Adeptness in data entry- Background working with Automated Payroll- Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)- QuickBooks experience highly preferred- General familiarity with Process Payroll- Payroll tax experience highly desired- Knowledge of Payroll Tax Deposits- Hands-on experience with Payroll Functions- Earlier work involving bi-Monthly Payroll- Bookkeeping experience- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel- Previous experience using accounting software- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferredRobert Half is the world\'s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
