This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily administrative operations. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and payments, reconciling bank and assisting with financial reporting and month-end close. The role also involves maintaining organized financial records, preparing basic Excel reports, supporting audits as needed, and assisting with budgeting and expense tracking. In addition, the position serves as a point of contact for vendors and customers on billing and account inquiries while providing general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Record, track, and reconcile financial transactions
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank statements
Prepare financial reports and support month-end close activities
Communicate with vendors and customers regarding invoicing, payments, and account inquiries
Maintain well-organized financial and administrative documentation
Assist with invoicing, filing, scheduling, and general office support tasks
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
Solid understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Relevant degree, diploma or experience
