We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Process accounts payable and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely payments.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to maintain financial health.
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and support decision-making processes.
Assist in the preparation for audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Requirements
at least 5 year experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an accounting environment.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks is required.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders.
