Critical Trauma Therapy (CTT) is looking for a Bookkeeper to join our growing team!

Job Responsibilities:



Maintain books of account (including but not limited to preparing checks, coding and posting invoices, preparing deposits, journal entries, reconciliations, petty cash) Oversee issuing of checks/payment of invoices Liaise with staff and support them in bookkeeping needs related to their program areas Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable Maintain year-end working papers and spreadsheets, and assist with preparation for any audits or independent reviews Complete monthly reconciliation for all accounts (bank, credit cards, and brokerage accounts) Maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes and impacts on the organization's books of account Maintain an accurate and complete trail of supporting documentation for all financial and bookkeeping activities

Requirements:



Post secondary education in a related field Minimum of 3-5 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience with solid Canadian payroll knowledge QuickBooks online, Jane, and Ceridian experience is a strong asset Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills Well-informed in basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen Outstanding data entry skills Understanding of federal and provincial payroll regulations and requirements General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment Excellent attention to detail and takes ownership of their work Customer Service oriented Ability to manage changing priorities Strong organizational and time-management skills
