Job Description

A & B Autobody is a family run fast paced auto body shop looking for an experienced bookkeeper to add to our team.

Responsibilities:

Perform accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow activities Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit cards Prepare weekly bank deposits and monthly credit card payments Preparation of the month-end & year-end closing process Calculate and prepare payroll for 30 plus employees Group benefits administration Bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare and file PST / GST and payroll remittances Prepare YE working papers for accountant AR collections Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

3 - 5 years of related experience and or training in full cycle accounting. Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise is mandatory. Strong understanding of GAAP. Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Must have strong verbal & written communication skills. Must be able to work under pressure independently and as a part of a team. Must be self motivated and reliable. Must be able to problem solve and have time management and organizational skills.
