Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized part time Bookkeeper to join our team. We use Quickbooks online. Invoices are uploaded through DEXT. The ideal candidate requires proficiency in both; and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciliation of the books and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. In-Person work is preferred; but we are open to a hybrid arrangement based on the candidate's preference and work plan.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records by recording all transactions into Quickbooks Reviewing Invoices uploaded into DEXT and making sure they are properly recorded and assigned Prepare a monthly Source Deduction summary Prepare monthly GST and PST return summaries Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and company records. Prepare AR and AP reports as needed for management review. Prepare financial reports as needed for management review. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding financial reporting.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper. Strong knowledge of account reconciliation techniques. Proficiency in QuickBooks and DEXT. Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage various accounting tasks to meet deadlines.
