Our community center is searching for a Bookkeeper! Please read the complete description and apply

The ideal candidate possesses:

a. strong knowledge of cloud-based accounting processes and procedures

b. good knowledge of accounting principles

c. Have previous experience as a bookkeeper

d. Has related education on accounting

e. Must be in Canada with a valid work permit.

General Duties

a. Maintains and reconciles the General Ledger

b. Handles Accounts Payable and prepares all payments

c. Completes month end financial reporting

d. Process POS, cash and communal payment reconciliations weekly

e. AGLC reporting

f. Review, prepare and manage long-term contracts with renters

g. Complete audit requirements as directed

h. Facilitates LEAF transactions receivable and payable

i. Prepares and processes quarterly GST payments

j. Maintains digital file storage of financial documents

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
