Position Summary

Ignition Marine Service is seeking a skilled

Bookkeeper

in Vancouver to support and manage our financial operations. This role is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing marine services company that values professionalism, integrity, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and analysis Support payroll processing and related administrative duties Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations Work collaboratively with team members to enhance financial processes Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation procedures Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Experience with marine industry accounting practices is an asset High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
