We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth financial operations and administrative functions of our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. Financial Management:
Enter and maintain accurate financial data
Generate various reports and statements
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Contribute to financial forecasts and budgets for upcoming projects
Regulatory Compliance:
Prepare GST, PST, WCB, and Payroll remittances
Help compile annual tax documents (T4s, T4As, T5018s)
Assist with corporate year end
Expense and Invoice Processing:
Process vendor invoices, employee expenses, and reimbursements
Prepare biweekly project invoices
Project Financial Oversight:
Maintain precise financial records for multiple construction projects using project management software BuilderTrend
Assist in project budget monitoring and expense tracking
Administrative Support:
Handle general tasks (filing, data entry, correspondence)
Assist in document control and contract administration
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping and administration experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft suite
Strong financial reporting and analysis knowledge
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Clear criminal record check
Additional Information:
You will be required to work in person full-time from our North Vancouver facility.
The position will be permanent full-time with extending health coverage after 3 months.
