Offered as a a short-term contract / temporary opportunity, this Bookkeeper position will be based in the Newmarket, Ontario area.Must have Epicore Profit 21 ExperienceHow you will make an impact- Support quality archived records by filing documents- Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions- Review payments received and record deposits- Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for bookkeeping- Assemble financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information- Oversee and manage general ledger- Appease accounts by balancing entries
- Experience using accounting software- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred- 3+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper- Practical knowledge of payroll- Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)- Comprehensive knowledge of account reconciliation- Bank reconciliations experience preferred- Experience with bookkeeping- Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred- General familiarity with month end closings- Background working with NetSuite- QuickBooks experience highly preferred- Adeptness in data entry- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft ExcelRobert Half is the world\'s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
