Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments. Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular account analysis. Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Utilize accounting software (Sage50, Simply Accounting) for bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and reporting. Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and insights. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly. Prepare financial reports as needed for management review. Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and resolve any discrepancies.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Simply Accounting is essential. Strong understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports effectively. Familiarity with budgeting processes is a plus. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members across the organization. A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not mandatory.
