Our company manufactures specialized electronic products for Medical, Industrial and Commercial customers. We require a Bookkeeper in our administration department. The position is available immediately.
Duties:
The Book Keeper will be required to carry out the following duties;
Carry out work according to procedures
Report to our Controller and Assistant Controller
Review and post timesheets in our ERP system
Check and post invoices
Review accounts payable, issue cheques/EFT/wire payments, follow up with credit invoices
Answer queries from suppliers and prepare reconciliation of supplier's SOA
Update international shipments
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations of USD & CAD accounts
Prepare statements for all completed jobs
Check credit availability for incoming orders
Enter Sales Orders for PO's received from customers and send PO confirmation to customers
Prepare Monthly Cashflow Statement
Carry out daily, monthly and year end accounting and bookkeeping functions and maintain accounting hardcopy/softcopy files and documents
Qualifications
This is an entry to mid level position. We intend to train the successful applicant to carry out the tasks listed above. The applicant must have the following qualifications;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Excellent attention to detail
A college diploma in a related discipline
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
