This position is for an experience bookkeeper with a minimum of 2 to 5 years working experience in Canada
Looking for long term and we are located in Mississauga
Responsibilities
Accounting for all business activities
Business Works (Sage) accounting software for managing financial statements
Prepare Month End reports
Prepare and file government remittance including T4's, T5,s, GST/HST returns & T5018's.
Preform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements
Provide support to clients on general questions regarding Year End and bookkeeping issues
Research tax issues and dealing with CRA on client matters.
Maintain organized files and documents.
Requirements
Strong work knowledge of Micro soft Excel, Word, Word Perfect and Outlook
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills
Critical thinker with strong problem solving abilities
Strong organizational skills
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in Business Works (Sage) accounting software
Must have good computer skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.50-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
