Located in the Mississauga, Ontario area, this Bookkeeper position is a great opportunity that you do not want to miss.Key responsibilities
- Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts
- Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- Settle accounts by reconciling entries
- Examine payments received and record deposits
- Support accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
- Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents
- Preside over and review general ledger- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
- Experience using accounting software
- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Adeptness in Microsoft Excel
- General familiarity with QuickBooks
- Bank reconciliations experience
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
- Experience with bookkeeping
- Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Solid understanding of account reconciliation
