We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing support in various administrative and reporting areas. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently while supporting multiple departments.
Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Accounting
Manage A/P and A/R functions
Perform bank reconciliations and process deposits
Handle EFT payments (Telpay) and follow up on past-due accounts
Record COGS monthly journal entries
Process employee expense reimbursements
Prepare equipment purchase invoicing
Support credit card payments and reconciliations
Support on entering and maintaining vendor invoices in e-automate
Prepare and file PST and EHT returns
Support WSBC filings and reporting
Track and manage credit memos
Prepare donation letters
Assist with sponsorship and donation recordkeeping and support
Provide support with commissions: review and verify amounts
Assist with payroll journal entries
Support various ad hoc financial and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, or similar) and MS Office Suite
Strong understanding of general accounting principles and reconciliations
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $62,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
