Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical accounting and be able to perform a variety of accounting tasks, Data Entry , Job Dockets.

Quickbooks Experience is required. *

Do not apply if you do not have experience with Quickbooks.

Bank Reporting with Margin reports are required for this Role. *

Do not apply if you do not have experience with financial reporting.

Responsibilities:- Perform account reconciliations- Assist with tax preparation- Help with budgeting and forecasting- Perform bank reconciliations- Type accurately at least 10 key strokes per minute- Assist with payroll processing- Process accounts payable-

The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts receivable and payable, tracking margins, and preparing reports to support management decisions. This role requires strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online, excellent organization skills, and the ability to follow up on outstanding invoices with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities



Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks Process and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with customers to ensure timely payments Generate weekly and monthly margin reports for management review Track and allocate job costs to ensure accurate profit reporting per project Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries Prepare and file HST/GST remittances and other required government reports Support end-of-month and year-end close processes Assist in forecasting cash flow and identifying potential collection issues early.

Qualifications



2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Proficient in QuickBooks (certification is an asset) Strong understanding of AR, AP, and margin reporting Experience in a manufacturing, printing, or service-based business preferred Excellent attention to detail and time management skills Strong communication skills and professionalism when following up with clients.
Analyze accounts Skills:- Strong technical accounting skills- Excellent attention to detail- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Benefits:- Competitive salary based on experience level-

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but not required.- At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
